Sebastian Topete gets in Internet drama with Clothing Store Bougie Mafia
On Saturday night, the influencer @Itsdavidmartinez CEO of Bougie Mafia got in a huge internet drama with the Tik Tok star Sebastian Topete (@sebastiantopete). The denominated Tik Tok room brought the drama to light since small businesses were coming after influencers for not promoting the shipped products. It’s David Martinez reached out to Tik Tok room with receipts of Topete ghosting them for months. Immediately after this influencer was called out, he ran on his story and posted private conversations he had with the internet-store Bougie Mafia, where he offered them to pay the merchandise sent to him and “Give them something more for the trouble.” People in the comments were mad at these influencers for not promoting the products and taking advantage of small businesses. What Bougie Mafia had to say of this entire drama was, “As we told him is not about the money. It’s true we didn’t have an agreement, but at least a thank you would’ve been fair. Small businesses take notes without an agreement; there’s no deal. #supportsmallbusiness” The influencer argument they did not have an agreement, but if they send them free products is not clear enough that they should promote the clothing?. This encounter was very unfortunate, and the influencer should have reached them out earlier.
