Convenient Estate Sales LLC Supports Black Lives Matter Initiatives
Vienna, VA, [6/10/20] – Convenient Estate Sales LLC, a leading provider of concierge estate sale services, is proud to announce a sales event in support of civil rights advocacy organizations that support Black Lives Matter. Convenient Estate Sales will donate half of all proceeds from it’s first-ever Christmas in July sale, which runs June 22 through July 31.
The sale will feature a generous selection of pre-owned collectibles from Convenient Estate Sales’ online store, including rare and distinctive china and dinnerware, figurines and other statuary from around the world, and a rich selection of oriental rugs. Shoppers can even celebrate loved ones’ milestones by adding sale items to a gift registry powered by myregistry.com.
To residents of the Southern Hemisphere, Christmas in July can mean a bit of traditional revelry in the year’s coldest season. For others, it is a playfully ironic way to have a bit of fun in the heat of the summer. Convenient Estate Sales LLC CEO chose Christmas in July as a sales team for a more profound reason.
“In our part of the world, Christmas comes just after the longest night of the year,” she reflects. “The weather has turned, snow is on the ground if you’re lucky. We stay indoors more, and life slows down.
“For months, the pandemic has had us living as if it were deepest winter. And then, despite the risks, people found themselves taking to the streets. We have always stood for equality and social justice for all, and the ongoing protests against racism and systematic injustice gave us the same sense of hope that Christmas inspires. That’s why we chose a Christmas in July theme for our sale.
“Far more importantly, it’s why we chose to support Black Lives Matter Initiatives. This may be the best chance our country and the world has ever had to identify the causes of its longest-standing injustices and to pull them up from the roots once and for all.”
