The Gospel Hopsin

For some of you who have not heard the name Exodus Swift. Let me educate you on this artist. He isn't a new artist, he's been doing this for quite some time now. But, what is it that separates him from other artists? The fact that Exodus Swift has released multiple projects every year consistently. That has done numbers, received hundred of thousands of streams, and received attention from some major labels.

Yet, we have not seen much support for Exodus Swift from his very own peers. Now, why is this? I've been a music journalist for over 15 years. So, when I normally see a dope artists that is doing very well. I expect to see some features, some support from other dope artists in their genre. We see it all the time in hip hop. When a dope artists drops a debut project or a new project. We often see features and support from his peers. Unless, yes, unless if this dope artist is someone that they perceives as a threat. We have seen it with 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Lupe, Trick Trick, and even with one of the greatest lyricists hands down, Hopsin. Now although 99% of the artists I just named, went on to achieve great success. Hopsin who has achieved success on multiple platforms, and has had sold out tours around the world. He hasn't reached the level of success that his peers has yet. We all know it's because they fear hopsin and what he will do if he's presented to their fans. It's an competitive business, and Hopsin is a contender. Now when you take Exodus Swift, and put him infront of Lecrae, Da Truth, and NF fans. I pretty much would bet the house that Exodus Swift's streams would increase well into the millions mark. Now the reason I made the comparison of Hopsin and Exodus Swift. Is because Hopsin is good, he's great, and a pure unadulterated genius at what he does. And I can say the exact same thing about Exodus Swift. But we live in a country where you have to hear it and see it to believe it. So I recommend every one reading this to go and download Exodus Swift 's 'Resurrection' album, His 'Untamed' album, and his latest album 'BlackOut'. The pink elephant in the room is ignored but they know it's there. And why do you ignore that elephant? Because if you can't do anything with it, beat it, or get rid of it, you simply look the other way. Let's not look the other way on Exodus Swift anymore. He has clearly proven that he is here, and here to stay.
